  22.         determines if a netmail message is inbound, outbound, or

  44.     Well, this is about it.   As far as I can tell the program
  45.     does full fidonet netmail and full fidonet echomail.  Which
  46.     is what I wanted to be available for version 1.00.  I will
  47.     also be including some DOCS on how to get started up on
  48.     fidonet, and maybe an offer to ship diskettes with all the
  49.     required software, like binkley, msg editor, nodelist,
  50.     nodelist compiler, fossil driver, batch files, etc...  Any
  51.     feedback might be appreciated.  The objective being that Joe
  52.     GT Sysop who wants to join fidonet can just print a short doc
  53.     file, and have a list of the steps that are required, and
  54.     have access to a couple of disks of software that will give
  55.     them everything essential that they'll need.

  105.     2.) Added code to stomp on multiple tag/brag lines.  It will
  106.         still leave the text intact, but will *NOT* let the tear
  107.         line "\n--- " through.  It will change it (I hope) to
  108.         "\n___ " which should get far fewer complaints from

  114.     1.) Well, yours truly never considered what would be the
  115.         ramifications of fidonet point nodes and "fake net"
  116.         numbers, so I've improved the fidonet IMPORT logic
  117.         to hopefully make it work a little better, as well
  118.         as add some debugging messages to help folks a little
  119.         explain to me when it don't work.

  121.     2.) Removed a dummy error on my part, I had hard coded my
  122.         net node number into one of the function calls, oh well.
  123.         This might have caused some sent messages outbound to
  124.         not be deleted...

  128.             a) how to handle "brag lines etc" ie, a message line
  129.                that starts with "---" etc... such as generated by

  143.         after much cursing and throwing of heavy objects, the culprit
  144.         was found...  Please don't run .507 if you have a large number
  145.         of message bases!!!

  162.     1.) Bug fixed in date handling that caused bizarre import dates
  163.         when used with d'bugs, oops, I means d'bridge.  (grin).

  165.     2.) Added code to enable GT Network ".ORIGIN and Route: " line
  166.         stripping.   This is with the 0001 area mode.  So if you
  167.         don't want to strip the .ORIGIN bug do want to strip the
  168.         high order line drawing characters, let me know, and I'll
  169.         implement a third area mode.  (I can't figure out why one
  170.         would want that though....)

  172.     3.) Fixed a pesky little bug in the GT API code that caused a
  173.         seek failure when attempting to read a message from a base
  174.         with high message numbers.  (Had the conversion to long int
  175.         in a bad spot.  compiler was doing the math as a short int
  176.         and then converting the number to a long..)  This was an
  177.         additional problem to the bug fix in 0.505 that caused a failure
  178.         to export gt messages.
